This RCR session provides an overview of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and its role in protecting human research participants. Attendees will learn about IRB requirements, key considerations for human subjects research, developing the NIH Study Record, and other essentials for navigating the IRB review process. This presentation is ideal for faculty, staff, students, and research personnel who are involved in or planning to conduct human subjects research. This training will count for both RCR credit and IRB training for all attendees.
