Applications are now being accepted for the FY26 DAWG Class.

The Departmental Administrator's Working Group (DAWG) is a year-long professional development and training opportunity for unit-level support personnel who have responsibilities related to sponsored projects. DAWG members are guided through the proposal lifecycle and grants administration processes to gain a better understanding of pre award functions. 

Monthly meeting topics include: how the different offices under the Office of Research and Economic Development work together to support faculty, budgeting, proposal preparation, MSU and federal regulations, and sponsor priorities, as well as further career development opportunities.  The class will meet for 2 1/2 hours once a month from September – May at 301 Research Boulevard. 

The deadline for applications is 8/29/2025 to lele@ord.msstate.edu.  Applicants will be notified, by email, of acceptance into the 2025-2026 class.
