10/16 - Clarify Your Message. This interactive 60-minute webinar will focus on identifying and expressing your core ideas and include an introduction to existing tools for science communication message planning, including the “five slide approach.”

11/12 - Know Your Audience. This interactive 60-minute webinar will introduce you to the process of conducting an analysis of your audience and tailoring your content for different audiences to maximize effectiveness.

01/14 - Craft Your Story. This interactive 60-minute webinar will walk you through creating your own narrative, from attention-grabbing beginning to satisfying ending.

02/11 - Sharpen Your Speaking Skills. In this interactive 60-minute webinar, you’ll learn how to identify jargon, choose language that connects with non-technical audiences, and use vocal and physical aspects of delivery to increase attention and communicate with impact.

03/04 - Final Session. This last, in-person session will have lunch provided, and will cap off with an event to celebrate, encourage connections among researchers across campus, and give participants a chance to practice or reflect on the skills they have developed over lunch. *Complete at least 3 sessions to attend.
