Help Shape MSU's ORAU Partnership

Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU)

Mississippi State University is a longtime member of the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) consortium, which connects university expertise with federal agencies, national laboratories, industry partners, and other research institutions.

Through ORAU, MSU researchers may find opportunities for collaborative research, joint proposals, specialized funding programs, workforce initiatives, and connections to expertise and resources across the consortium.

Where Our Strengths May Align

ORAU works across a broad range of scientific, technical, workforce, and public health priorities. Areas of potential alignment include environmental and atmospheric science, health and exposure science, advanced manufacturing, nuclear and national security, STEM education and workforce development, data and emerging technologies, and community resilience.

MSU capabilities may also complement ORAU opportunities beyond these areas. Researchers from all disciplines are encouraged to share relevant expertise, resources, and interests through the Capabilities & Interest Form.

Why Engage with ORAU?

Participation in the ORAU consortium can create pathways to collaborative research and joint proposals, connections with federal agencies and national laboratories, partnerships with other member universities and industry, specialized funding opportunities, and access to ORAU expertise and resources.

By helping ORD understand MSU's capabilities now, researchers can be better positioned when relevant partnership and funding opportunities emerge.
